RYA courses & training

British Royal Yachting Association (RYA) courses have long been considered the highest quality yachting qualification worldwide, as confirmed by Seamaster Yachting research.

Currently we offer all levels of RYA courses and exams in tidal waters in cooperation with our partner sailing school residing on the west coast of Scotland:

Other licenses may be obtained in addition to the sailing course:RYA licenses are valid for a lifetime and need not to be renewed. They are a world-recognized proof of the level of your sailing abilities.

Astronavigation

The main lecturer of the course is an astromomer Petr Scheirich, who has sailed across the Atlantic several times using astronavigation. He is the author of a publication on the same topic and regularly trains sailors in navigation. He teaches astronavigation, terrestrial navigation and GPS navigation.
For those interested in tidal navigation there will be an additional lecture on navigation in tidal waters (Lucie Schurerova).

Freediving

If you want to learn something more about nature and yourself, the certified course Freediving Basics led by experienced lecturer Mick Vrana will be just for you.

One of the activities in nature that meets all the requirements for active human regeneration is snorkelling, scuba diving or – if you prefer it – freediving. Its undeniable advantage is the minimal material equipment and independence on diving centers. These are also the reasons why freediving is becoming increasingly popular among yachting folks.

Scuba diving

(Czech Association of Divers)

All these certified courses are led by an instructor with an international license, Martin Zrubek, a member of the Czech Association of Divers. The courses take place all year round – at our base in Greece, but also in the Czech Republic, Italy, Croatia or in combination of various locations. The content and conditions of the courses meet the European (international) standard.
